Today we went to see Disney on Ice Passport to Adventure at the new Golden One Center. I knew my daughter was going to be excited because she loved Disney Frozen Ice last year when we went. This was our first trip to the new Golden One Center, so we were looking forward to checking it out.

We arrived a little early to make sure we found parking which we had no problem by the way. To save money I recommend prepaying for parking.
Anyway, we got there with plenty of time to spare and so we decided to walk around Golden One Center to take a look, and grab something to eat. Besides lots of options of food, the lobby is filled with Disney merchandise. It’s no problem finding something the kids will want so be prepared for a lot of begging and pleading. I usually recommend buying things from the dollar store or Amazon beforehand to give to my kid at the show but I was too busy to do that so I was stuck paying full prices.
The show started out with It’s a Small World, and included The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Tinkerbell, Frozen, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and of course Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. It lasted a little under two hours, with a 15 minute intermission.
After the show, I asked my daughter what her favorite part of the show was. She said she liked the Frozen segment with Elsa and Anna, which was no surprise. My favorite part of the show was the Lion King portion because the skating choreography was really amazing. All in all, I thought the show was a little on the slow side and did not keep my young daughter’s attention as the Frozen Disney on Ice did, however it doesn’t really matter what I think because it’s about how the kids love it, and they did.
If you haven’t seen the show, they are still touring across the country! Don’t delay, find your tickets here.
